Spotlight on the hundredth anniversary of a woman's right to vote in New York State

On Sunday, November 5, 2017, the Kenmore Village Improvement Society held a special program at the Kenmore United Methodist Church celebrating the 100th anniversary of a woman's right to vote in New York State.  There were some special guest speakers, as well as people dressed in clothing of the period, music and more!  The Town of Tonawanda Public Library Kenmore Branch created a special brochure for the event.  It contained a selection of titles available through the Buffalo and Erie County Public Library for kids and adults who want to delve deeper into this seminal time in our state and nation's history.  Download your own copy of the brochure HERE.

Check out pictures from the event at the KVIS Facebook Page HERE.
